About

My Kodagu. Our responsibility.

A citizen reporting platform for Kodagu district — built so that noticing a problem and recording it takes one photograph and no forms.

Operated by Cyberhuman AI Inc. · In active development

Why it exists

Most civic problems in Kodagu are seen by someone long before they are reported. A pothole on a ghat road, a tree down after a storm, waste dumped by a stream — people notice, mention it to each other, and it goes no further. Not from apathy: because reporting it means finding out which department is responsible, finding a way to reach them, and describing a location that has no address.

Nada Kodagu removes all three steps. You photograph the thing. The location comes from your phone, the category is suggested automatically, and the report is matched to the department responsible for it. What used to be an afternoon of phone calls is a few seconds.

What it does

What it is not

It is not an emergency service — for danger to life call 112, or 1926 for forest emergencies. It is not a government service, and it has no authority over any department. It cannot make anyone fix anything. What it can do is make sure that what was seen is written down, publicly, in a form somebody can act on.

How it is built

Deliberately small. The whole app is under 100 KB and works on an old Android phone over a weak connection, because that is the phone and the connection most of Kodagu actually has. It works offline: file a report in a dead zone and it sends itself when you find signal, hours later if need be. There is no app store and nothing to install — open the link, and add it to your home screen if you want to.

Kannada and English from the first day, not a translation added later.

Who runs it

Nada Kodagu is operated by Cyberhuman AI Inc. as a community project for the district. It is free, carries no advertising, and sells nothing. It is built to cost very little to run, which is what makes that sustainable rather than a promise with a deadline on it.

It is early. The platform is in active development and reports are being recorded before they are being sent to departments — we would rather build that part with the district administration than around it. The scorecard says plainly which departments have been contacted and which have not.

Get involved

File reports. Confirm the ones you have also seen — a report with confirmations is far harder to ignore than one without. Share it with people in your village. If you work for a department and want reports delivered in a particular form, or you spot a number that looks wrong, tell us through the contact form.
